On June 29th, the Chicago STEM Pathways Cooperative (STEM Co-op) convened at the Chicago Cultural Center, with additional members joining virtually.

This meeting marked the first large-group reconvening of the Co-op since the onset of the pandemic, and as a result there was much to catch up on! Attendees received a walkthrough of the Co-op’s history and an update on the current state of affairs, including ongoing initiatives such as STEAMbassadors, STEM Signing Day, & STEM in the Chi.

Finally, the Co-Op was pleased to welcome Kelli Easterly, Executive Director of the Chicago Public Schools STEM Education Department to present their new STEM strategy, and Stender Von Oehson from the Mayor’s Office to present on My CHI. My Future.
